The Cricketers, Croydon

This Pub is likely to please 98% of drinkers and diners. No pool table but 2 x TV's, Music, Board Games, Cards, Books, Quiz Machine and Fruit Machines are entertainment enough. TVs & music are never too loud so you can have a chat without shouting. This is probably the only pub in Croydon that is always busy. There is a car park and huge garden, albeit in the wrong place to always be busy. The patio makes up for that and becomes the epi-centre in the summer, with a BBQ and Parasols. Nip next door to Tesco if you run out of ciggies. The regulars are a cross section of society with different colours and creeds all made welcome by delightful, attentive staff. The Cricks over 60's club is for anyone up for a natter by log fires offering meals for �3.50 between 12 and 5pm Mon-Fri. All in all, this is a pub not a wine bar and thanks to owners Ray and Theresa Snadden, there are always Events, Bands, Party's and more importantly, good people there.
