Queen and Castle, Kenilworth

Went here two weeks ago. New landlord, who introduced himself and is a nice fella. Hopefully his pleasant attitude will reflect on the rest of the staff...apart from one other fella that works there who is always polite and quick serving, anyway.

The Famous Virgins and Castle, Kenilworth

I like The 'V's' and always have. They accept non-locals as much as locals and they don't all stare if a group of you all get a little rowdy with laughter. The beauty of the pub is all the little rooms. You can have a whole room to yourselves if there is a big group of you, on a quieter evening. The only bad thing...and it's not the pubs fault and can't be helped-is that the beer garden is so popular that it can't cater for the demand some evenings. On the whole, a great pub and I can honestly say I've never had a crap night here!

Albion Tavern, Kenilworth

So local it should be re-named the Royston Vasey! Yes they do all stare when you walk in. (Hmmm...perhaps even the Slaughtered Lamb?) Locals...if you are reading this-We mean no harm-we bring peace to your village!
