The Queens Head, Burley

Oh how things have changed from the last time I was at The Queens Head. 5 August 2007 I was truckerphil then. Went there on Sunday 24 May. The first thing my wife told me was that only one of the ladys cubicles was working and the the whole place was filthy, maybe we should haev gone out the door then, as it was we ordered "crispy" beer battered fish (did not turn out crispy then again only part of the fish was covered in it) Scampy both come with mushy peas (Dried up after microwaving). We also were told that there is a 1/2 hour wait. Fifty minutes later I had to ask where it was 10 minutes later it turner up. The scampy was only just about cooked the fish was bland and the long dark hair that was in the last part of the fish seemed to be the icing on the cake. In all I would not go to The Queens Head again then the landlord can carry on flirting with the Ozzie bar staff. Nice village VERY POOR PUB
