Chequers, Bromley Common

Visited this pub several times over the last couple of years being relatively close to home.Always found the food good, very reasonably priced and almost served before being ordered.Only ever seen two real ales available, Abbot and one other.Bar staff friendly at all times and very efficient.

The Two Doves, Bromley

I have been to this pub about ten times this year being local to me.Always found a friendly welcome and no wait to be served.Lunchtime.Food (cold snacks) are served.
Four Young's beers on the pumps on my last visit 29 12 11.Young's,Young's Special,Young's Winter Warmer and Ellen's Ale,to be replaced by tribute when the barrel runs out so I am told.
A visit is strongly recommended if you like a small friendly pub in a quiet location.
