Saw some great live music there last night and had an excellent pint of Pride. Would thoroughly recommend. Not sure about comments about being a trendy bar - it's still a proper pub, just brought into the 21st century!

I live local and this pub never appealed to me in the past, however I popped in and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly bar staff, very good fullers beer (choice of 3 ales), good food at reasonable prices and all round good atmosphere.
Will defiantly visit again.

The George and Vulture, Hoxton
An excellent pub with fantastic beer. I went on a recommendation from Camera and wasn't dissapointed. Great atmosphere, great music and great food. Not often enough you get such a a good combination in Hackney!
