The Albany, Thames Ditton

Booked on the internet, yet when we arrived they could not find the booking. After ordering the food took over an hour to reach the table. 3 out of 6 meals were considered pretty good - all considered over priced. Failled to clear the tables, when they did, they only removed half the plates. Only the guy who tried to find us a table was any good. He was well mannered and rushed off his feet - the rest of the staff ( under staffed ) needed a good talking to - I appreciate it was a busy sunny day, but its your job to provide good service. I've been here in the winter monthes and when the pub is quiet it is very nice, infact I would descibe it as "Special". On a Sunday when the sun's out - go elsewhere - or just have a drink by the river. Then you won't be disappointed.
