The Rambler Country House, Edale

My wife children and I have just recently stayed at this hotel. We decided to comment on our enjoyable stay but were so shocked at other comments on this website as our stay was quite the opposite. We booked a family room which accommodated 4. As soon as we arrived after a long journey the staff was extremely helpful offering to help us with our bags up two flights of stairs.
After settling in to our room. We went down to the restaurant. Seeing how busy it was we were worried about getting a table for the evening meal but were advised by a lady who I think was the manageress that there was already a table reserved for us as we were residents.
The food was very good and went down great with a pint of real ale. As a real ale drinker myself who drinks at many pubs I was rather happy at the large selection of real ales.
The hotel rooms were fantastic and looking out into the hills of Edale was a pleasure every morning.
As a lady my wife always checks the toilets and found them to be cleanest and best smelling toilets and to finish them off a vase of fresh flowers
My family and I will defiantly return to the rambler country house next summer and would recommend it to anyone
