Views over the river on a warm evening are this pubs ony good feature.... Its cold and souless with a pretentious overpriced menu.

The Star and Garter, Falmouth

Sunday night August 6th.
We have not paid this pub a visit for a while now but so nice to find Me & The Devil still playing the venue. The views out over the harbour are great but the music was fantastic. This tight blues trio are have to be one of the best I've seen. The Guitar player vocalist has a great blues voice, the double bass player seems to have sold his soul and on the faster numbers his hand are a blur and the harp (harmonica) player is simply just brilliant, one of the best.
This is a group you really should not miss - the place was packed to the doors with people of all ages and despite finishing their sets for the night, the cry went out for "The Mystery Train" a number they often finsh on which really does demonstrate all their individual talents to the fullest.
After this final number by demand, one member of the audience was heard to shout "Awesome" which just about sums up this group.
