The Fox and Hounds, Farley Hill

friendly, clean pub in a gorgeous setting. very welcoming when we pop in on our cycle rides. beer always good but a little pricey, always want to try the food too as looks lovely. Sometimes advertises as having a bouncy castle in the garden, if that's your thing.

The Bull, Barkham

Lovely pub. Great food, the Barkham Blue cheese on the steak is gorgeous! Good selection of bagettes etc. Great beer but a little pricey. Looks like it'd be really nice in the winter with the huge fire roaring! Chef was a little funny about putting a dollop of chilli on the chips my friend ordered, even though they offered to pay which seemed a little strange. Friendly bar staff, have been a few times and would go back.

Swan Inn, Arborfield

Friendly staff and locals. Great, very reasonably priced food. V.good real ales. Unusual specials on the menu that I can never decide which ones to have! Small but cosy. Definitely worth a visit!
