It might be worth listing some of the other drinks you can still get here, (younger readers may not have heard of some of them) complete with prices (from memory - can't guarantee perfect recall)
Bottle of Light Ale 82p; Mann's Brown Ale 90p; Whitbread Gold Label Barley Wine �1.10 (well, it is 8.5%); Mackeson Milk Stout 82p; Bottle of Guinness 94p; large glass Liebraumilch �1 (red wine? nah love, don't do red wine). Crisps 35p; Teacher's Scotch 90p; Smirnoff Vodka 90p; Cockburn's Port 85p
I thought these were 30-year-old price labels that no-one had bothered to remove; but no.
Am thinking about sneaking these onto the price comparison chart at the Wetherspoon !
