Ye Olde Coach and Horses Inn, Melton

With regard to sgt101 comments of 25 June - You are absolutely right! This pub is now known simply The Coach & Horses. It has been completely, and tastefully I might add, refurbished from top to bottom. It now belongs to the well known family owned Deben Inns Ltd. They own several other pubs locally (Wilford Bridge, Plough & Sail, Maybush, Fox Inn & Butt & Oyster). We have visited and eaten in all these pubs and the result is the same in each of them - great food, great beer and excellent serviced. We are so happy that the new Coach & Horses is back in business. We visited a few days after it's opening and it was excellent - a few "glitches" which is to be expected with a new opening, but having returned twice since then all has been smoothed out. The fact that Deben Inns seems to fill their tables while some other pubs struggle and only be attributed to the quality of food, drink and service. No, I'm not associated with them in any way - just a local lover of fine ale and food.
