The Harbour Inn, Solva

I have been going to the harbour inn for about 17 years or more, and I love the place...it's location in out of this world, the beer is good, the staff have always been friendly, the food is always good...especially the sunday carvery!!! It has something to offer all ages. The harbour inn is quite simply a good honest pub! As for the mad mild drinker (see below)...if all you want out of life is a pint of mild, buy your own and drink at home instead of critising pubs if they don't sell mild!! If mild drinkers are generally like you, it's probably just aswell mild has had its day!

The Old Nags Head, Edale

I recently visited the Nags Head for the first time in some years and it's clear to see the improvement. The place is alot more welcoming and the staff are very friendly and polite. The food doesn't blow your socks off but it is well priced, tasty and homecooked...just what you need after a long walk. Well worth a visit as it is a lovely old pub with lots of character. Will definitely go back soon!!
