Moo Bar, Leamington Spa

Still a great bar and always gets my vote. Now us "original" Leamington funksters are in our mid-late 30s it's nice to see a place with good drinks, good tunes and great eye candy (without the risk of a potential jail sentence following chatting up under age girls as with many "bars" in Leam) that don't try and be something they're not (ring any bells with other bars locally?!)
As I'm getting on abit now it's nice to know they also do great breakfasts on Saturdays with a proper pot of tea!!!
On a final note, how anyone can put a comment (badgercentral) saying it's outclassed by the White Horse is beyond me but maybe they don't get out much!!!

The Stag's Head, Offchurch

Being a young Offchurch local, and only within a year of moving there, it is nice to see that someone is making an effort to transform The Stag. Our "local" tended to be the Red Lion in Hunningham (great pub but always involved the car due to the distance so my wife or I couldn't have a drink) as The Stag was your typical village pub for regulars only, with newcomers given the odd glance and limited service.
The new owners seem great, having chatted with them, and the food is excellent so here's hoping that the "olde worlde" decor is updated and the maze type layout is sorted as well as the garden getting some attention in the summer that was mentioned.
My only critiscisms at the moment are a limited menu (but excellent quality food!), due to the layout the regulars tend to block the way through to the main area thus making it daunting to new visitors and the slightly cramped eating area, although I'm sure these problems are to be rectified with future progression.
Well worth a visit for the new menu, friendly owners and the amazing steak!
