The Nuthouse, Eastbourne

The Nuthouse is about right, perhaps they called it that to reflect the attitude of the staff. Couple of them are OK, but one in particular, the old ginger bird has the most atrocious attitude - rude and abrupt. How she has survived this long in the pub trade is beyond me.....It probably why the pub is full of old people - they cant hear her, nobody else would poke up with her. The pub itself is dated, and in need of a refurb. Dull painting, awful carpets - simply a dark smokey hole. Flat coke, in a chipped glass with an after taste of fag ash - Nice! Full of regulars (mainly pensioners) who horde the bar, you will get a drink when the staff have finished chatting to their 'friends' but it really isnt worth the wait, best option - leave.
