The Albany, Thames Ditton

We went to the Albany for lunch yesterday and found it quite frightful. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the river. There were unruly children screaming and running around the place while the parents sat indifferent to it all. The service was chaotic and the food was poor and overpriced. The wine was very expensive and even though, on the menu, there is a "cellar" wine which turns out to be wine on draught, we were told that they had run out. The noise inside the place was incredible. Certainly will never be going back there again.
