first of all i would like to apologise to funkbadger for the fact that you were not offered a refund if you were not happy with your drink.I do find it hurtful however that you say our beer is mostly past its best which could not be further from the truth.The quality of our ale is second to none in the town.And you are also inaccurate regarding camra policy on tasters .Offering tasters is a condition of pubs that hold cask marque accreditation and should not be confused with CAMRA policy it is refered to as try before you buy.It is CAMRA policy to encourage pubs to offer 1/3 pint measures which we do!It is our choice that we do not give free beer away and since we have done so we have lowered our prices on cask ale to accommodate peoples budgets in these hard times.
