Agree with the below - had a meal in there and although the food was good the atmosphere was non-existant and the food extremely pricy. This pub had become very popular with locals due to friendly, attentive bar staff and a manager who showed an interest in running a happy ship. A stupid example of M&B trying to make more money I hope it ends in failure. I agree that the food before could be variable but the Tuesday and Thursday theme nights were good value. Now �21 for a fillet steak - they are having a laugh - I would go to the Michelin starred Chapter One if I was willing to pay that kind of money.
