Excellent pub run by friendly people with a great, knowledgeable staff.
Incredibly diverse selection of ales. Fourteen constantly varying hand-pumps and a dazzling array of bottled beers from around the world.
I have read some pretty ignorant comments made by one or two detractors on this website. I would advise that you are not misled by their misplaced negativity. Visit the pub yourself and make up your own mind. If you like real, quality beer, you'll be fine and so glad you made the trip. I stumbled on this location by accident one afternoon back in February (2011). I count that event as a very good break indeed. I've been coming back as often as I can ever since. Do yourselves a favour: go and see for yourselves.
