The Bavarian Beerhouse, Shoreditch

The premise for this place is great: big largers, nice waitresses, and the feel of the Oktoberfest, without having to shell out to go to Germany.

The reality was a massive dissapointment. We were unable to get Stein beers all night due to a lack of glasses. The beer was not fresh. The atmosphere was poor.

However, the the biggest disappointment was the terrible service, which was slow, unfriendly and unresponsive after making a complaint. The waitresses and manager were rude.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better places in the old street area.
