The Globe, Moorgate

The pub has recently changed the menu and has really gone down hill. Jacket potatoes have been removed from the menu along with a good choice of sandwiches.

For any vegetarians be warned this pub like to add additional charges to your meal. On the menu they have a sausage sandwich (meat or veggie) for �4.99. Only if you order the veggie they charge an extra �1! After pointing out that the menu makes no mention of extra charges we was told to pay it or don't have it!

It took 45mins for 2 sandwiches to arrive. Staff upstairs were rude and couldn't care a less about customer service. We will not eat here ever again. My suggestion is go to the Rack - more money but great service.
