The Betsey Wynne, Swanbourne

Turned up on a Harley Davidson, which clearly did not go down well with the pub. Walked in and it was like Royston Vasey. All stopped briefly what they were doing to stare! Distinctly unwelcome feeling which was added to by the staff and manager, who appeared shocked that we were daring to be there! And despite there being empty tables, no, there was no room for us to eat! Quelle surprise! Very bad and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

The Swan Inn, Stewkley

This pub has had new management in Jan 2010 and the changes have been fantastic! The food is amazing, try the steak & kidney pies, and the steaks! Am busy working my way thru the menu! They recently had a beer fest with a huge amount of guest ales and 4 bands, which went down a storm. Ihear there are some other events planned. Hugely family friendly too. Have had a warm welcome from staff. Lovely garden. No need to go anywhere else!
