The Phelips Arms, Montacute

We spent a fantastic Valentines evening in this beautiful country pub. The pub was full to bursting which gave it a wonderful atmosphere of peaple enjoying
themselves. We were warned that there would be a delay in getting our food as it was so busy but it was well worth the wait as the food was really first rate ,you could tell that everything was fresh and cooked to order. The landlady and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The evening was rounded off with a fun night of quizes and games. I couldn't recommend this little country pub enough, for good food, friendly staff and a wonderful ambiance
