The Pepper Pot, Banbury

Ok this little pub is quite a quirky one. Having eaten in many places i found the food sadly lacking any flavour. The meat was as tough as old boots and packaged gravy is not the answer. Bought in desserts are over-priced and awful even the well devised presentation failed to hide the horror. Beers are good, real ale on sale and this was very well kept. Not sure who the management was as all staff not really dressed for food service and seemed to be allowed to drink alcohol in work time, altho they were very pleasent One question i have before i return again, is this a boozer or a food outlet as sunday lunches make you feel like your in a warzone with too many children allowed to run riot all over the place. Could do a whole lot better with abit more imagination, overall...... OK.....
