The Catcher in the Rye, Finchley
As an old regular of Catcher in the Rye, we are all fully aware who one and the same 'VAT' man & 'Bailiff' is. Unfortunately it is for me to say that we all avoid 'VAT Man/Bailiff' "like the plague", due to his constant bullying of young bar staff & insesently boring waffle, rather than the great pub. Unfortunately for Finchley VAT man seems to haunt all the other great pubs, so it becomes a bar crawl of hide & seek.
Poker night at the Cather is a great night out on Thursdays.
