The Carpenters Arms, Tottenham Court Road
This pub has just been renovated. No Sky, no big screen, no smoking, just a fine selection of QUALITY European lagers (no Carlsberg, etc.) and a couple of quality guest draft ales. Also has the bonus of scrumpy on draft! There's a cracking food menu and wine list too. Bit pricey, but give it another go.
