Eagle Vaults, Worcester

At 28 years old, this is the worst pub i have ever been too in my life. I have never been ridiculed or confronted with aggression in a pub. What amazed me about my experience in the Eagles Vault last night, was that the person taunting me was the barman! Despite visiting with my girlfriend and a few friends, the barman openly taunted me over the bar to the amusement of his skin head regulars about my sexuality, implying that i was gay and somehow making eyes at him (in quite an aggressive 'your not welcome here way'. I am not gay, but it really isn't the point. If this is the prejudice gay people encounter then its an eye opener. The reason for his attack I have no idea, aside from perhaps ordering a pint for me and coke for my pregnant girlfriend. If friends hadn't already paid up for their drinks i would of walked straight out.

So if you want to be drinking in what feels like a BNP rally with a brain-dead barman, this is your place.

If not, avoid like the plague and hopefully it won't be long before this place closes down (again).
