The Albert, St James's

Yes, there are a lot of tourists here, but lots of locals too. This place has a good atmosphere, reasonable prices and in 15 years I've never had a problem with the staff. I can't comment about the food, but for a friendly pint you could do much worse.

The Gallery, Pimlico

I'm afraid I have to agree with the negative reviews of this place. I've been to this pub twice and both times were relatively quiet so my opinion has nothing to do with obnoxious patrons. Although the place is clean, there is little atmosphere and the staff don't appear interested in their customers. I usually drink in pubs more central than this one, but the prices here are extortionate even compared to pricier areas. You can definitely find a better place to spend your time and cash.
