This could be the best pub in town. It isn't. Quiet, apart from when discos or events are on and a little bit rough.

The Godolphin Arms, Marazion

A great location, of course, but, if you want to go to the Gig Bar, you can never be sure if it's shut because there's a function or the landlady has booked all the tables or moved them for a quiz night, a band or a football match so it's hopeless to go their on spec (especially since the tables are packed away for any such event hours in advance, for some reason). It's a shame and must lose money, since the people who book don't have to arrive until just before the event starts and other people are turned away and don't come back.
