i found the evening staff very surly and a smile wouldnt go astary. As for the food if you like it fried you will love it . Cheap and nasty , The chef looks drunk 99% of the time . Ok for quick drink when going on somewhere better.

Please ignore all the previous reviews you have read about this pub.In January 2009 The Greyhound has been re-opened with a new landlord and bar manager.
I expect at this point now you are raising your eyebrows, but read on.
From Monday 18th April the outside of the pub is having a facelift and re-decoration of the inside is on going as we speak.
You still have 2 bars .
The sports bar has a pool table and a darts board . Not many pubs have either. Tuesday night is pool practice and Wednesday is match night. Sky sports is available .
If you are not interested in the Sports bar then you can relax in the Lounge Bar without the sound of music interrupting your conversation.
Hungry ? you can try the new menu which is served between 12-3 then 6 -9 . If you are not to hungry there is a Bars snacks menu or The Greyhound Burger menu.
Sunday roast is being served from 12 until 3 .
The pub sells 4 lagers. Carlsberg, Fosters, Kronenberg 1664 and Stella .
If you prefer an Ale try the Adnams broadside or Ruddles occasionally the pub does have a guest bitter.
Guinness , Magners and Strongbow are also available.
The pub is in a convenient location for Gatwick airport and Three Bridges station.
It is nice to find a pub that hasn't been turned into a theme pub or a characterless chain.
The staff are friendly and polite .
The Greyhound has a very large beer garden , ideal if you have children or dogs .
Remember if you are on a walk , bike ride or staying at a nearby bed and breakfast go in and relax before you continue your journey.
Give this pub a chance, we need more like this .
