The Prince of Wales, Weybridge
Booked for 10, Sunday lunch - food reasonable, my tomato soup while tasty reminded me of the base for a bolognese sauce with lots of tinned tomato, as a pose to cream of tomato consistency. The roast lamb I had, and the roast beef my Mum had was tough - 'real meat' but definitely not good cuts - we both ended up eating only veg. which was fresh and good.
In all an average meal, but not an eye watering price so I could wear it - lady who took the order was pleasant and very helpful.
The biggest turn off for me was the fact the pub was a little too dog friendly - it was like being at Crufts at one point walking from the restaurant through the bar to the ladies - and typically the dog owners expected you to walk around their animals who covered you in hair as you brushed past - still they obviously felt at home as one squatted on the pub carpet and poo'd ! nice ! and no-one batted an eyelid although the owner did dig out the obligatory plastic bag to dispose of it and the bar staff alterted me just in time before I trod in it ...shant be back to eat needless to say as that will stay with me.
