The Ship Inn, Wandsworth

Oh Dear. My girlfriend and I have been here a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. What has happened?? �5.35 for a pint and an orange with lemonade? Even the barman appologised. Then the food.... Where to start. Not overly priced but overly salty. We ordered two risottos which were inedible, far far too much salt. The salad we ordered came out wrong and the butternut sqash which was meant to be in the risotto didn't come out until we reminded the waitress and then only one portion arrived. When the second one came, it was twice the size of the first. We had dirty glasses, a menu and the pepper mill left on our table the whole evening and when we came round to complaining at the end the girl still didn't seem to care. In the end we got so bored waiting for the bill we had to get up and tell them that we were bored and wanted the bill... They charged us for only the glass of wine my girlfriend had and we walked out. We won't be going back which is a shame as it used to be a lovely local pub by the river. What happened? We'll give it a 2, but that's only for the wine which was nice.
