The Yew Tree, Arlington

We booked a table and when we walked in it took 15 minutes for anybody behind the bar to acknowledge us although we arrived on time. Tried to order drinks but was told 'somebody will take your order at your table'. Nobody did. After 20 minutes we went back to the bar and it took another 15 minutes to be served. The person who we took to be the landlord was more interested in chatting to his mates rather than doing any work, leaving the rest of the staff running around. Just about to leave and we were served our drinks. Food not great and when I came to pay landlord ignored me again, chatting away. Hand driers in both toilets didn't work. A classic case of being complacent and relying on current business and not putting any effort in. We still spent �100 in that visit but will not be returning.
