Having read a few comments on here before I went to The Engineer last weekend, I was bracing myself for a stuffy, snooty and bad customer service-based boozer. However, I was very pleasantly surprised indeed! St. Peters Organic Ale on tap (possibly my best pint of ale ever?), very tasty celeriac soup and pork belly with canneloni beans; and an absolutely lovely waitress made a family outing a genuinley memorable one. My only disappointment was that I had no room left for pudding. Hoorah for The Engineer!

Ahh, poor jimmyay 1, who can't read. I am called 'Meatboy' which implies, does it not, that I am, in fact..wait for it.. a male! Which means, a Dad! Which is obviously something you'll never be as you have clearly insinuated that you have no penis and therefore no cum. Sorry to disappoint you. Oh and, um, my son is not, in my opinion, 'unruly' so what gave you the ill-conceived thought that children are automatically fitted in that category? Breastfeeding? Shock- horror! Were you fed bile from birth? Cos that's what you're chucking up now! Ah poor sod.

The Honor Oak, Honor Oak
Had Sunday lunch there today- roast beef and all the trimmings- and it was very nice indeed. I had to ask it for it rare to get med rare, but that's a trick I've learnt with most gastropubs these days (only good restaurants really know how to cook meat properly. Fact). Great beer too, a welsh brew called Brains and possibly the best service in South-East London. Great pub, recommended!
