The Rising Sun, Epsom

Spent a very pleasant evening here with friends last Saturday. The staff was friendly and the ambience was warm and cozy on a chilly November evening. Happy to see they have Staropramen as it's a favourite. We didn't order food, but it looked to be very good indeed.

The Chequers, Walton On The Hill

I organised a birthday dinner party for my partner's 40th at Chequers and the staff at the pub really went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. The food was excellent (especially the pork belly) and the ambience was really warm and comfortable on a chilly November night. Everyone had a great time. Top marks.
