Hundred House Hotel, Great Witley

It's a bit like a cardboard wedding cake - looks great, but there's nothing really there. Pub is shabby, food is awful, and as for the rooms.. EEEeeeek don't stay there!

Or at least, don't stay in one of the outside cottages - the inside rooms might be better. They cotages are really grotty, they smell of damp and poo, all the bathroom fittings are the cheapest and barely work. It's really bad for the charge of �60 or more a night. I've stayed in �18.00 per night b & b's that had a higher standard of everything.

Overall, as a pub and a hotel it's awful. And very pretentious. When we mentioned the poor quality of the food the waitress bristled "But this is a COUNTRY hotel.". Oh, ok. Country hotels are expected to be awful??? Not this bad they're not.
