The George, Charmouth

Visited here with my fiance. Nice looking pub, unfortanatly I think you need to have a reshuffle of staff...

Upon visiting the George at Charmouth I had a nice drink with my partner, and thought we will come here again, good service I thought by the women with the brown hair. EHHHH wrong answer. We arrived the next day or so onwards and went to order. We were told we could only pay by cash...which is unusual but fine ok. Found ourselves a table (which hadn't been cleaned or plates collected so I thought Id be helpful and take them to the bar) ehhh wrong thing to do...wasnt even thanked...so waited at the bar anyway to be served and said Hi to one of the blond waitresses expecting to be served.Nope....she just looked at me blankly and walked on by. They then asked the locals in the bar if anyone was being served, didnt even look in my general direction so thought ok great, got mine and kates drinks and then went into the restrurant which was sweltering. Everyone looked generally annoyed and also the food looked disgusting AND Microwaved rubbish. So after my macdonalds type introduction to the George inn at Charmouth we went onto the Pizza place down the road and this was much more accomodating and the food there is lovely. Im afraid this place is hit or miss, in our case miss. I think the two blonde girls there need to be sacked as they are stuck up their own bum.etc etc..and the people with the brian hair are nice, keep them on. Also do home made dishes and you'll be fine.
