The Ivy House, Nunhead

I love this pub! Theres a great Nunhead Community feel about it. No Yummy mummys kids running around getting on your nerves, nice decent, well brought up children who know how to behave. Huge big function room at the back. Dogs welcome and tend to get a treat from the chef occasionally. Can't wait for the cold winter evenings snuggled around the fire if it's true what Pat Bateman Says. Try it, you'll love it.

The Rye Pub, Dining Room and Garden, Peckham Rye

Oh dear, what have they done. Very tightly packed in the garden. The staff had trouble finding tables that have ordered food prior to adding double the amount. I ordered a nice pint of flat cider and was charged 60p more for the priviledge. The front and back have absolutely no atmosphere what so ever. Was the only pub where i enjoyed sitting in the garden. Don't like this place anymore.

The Crown Inn, Stockport

Right, this is not a good way to rate a pub in my opinion. This is more like a slanging chat site. If the people on here were true beer/ale drinkers there wouldn't be all this fighting going on.

I did set foot in this pub through true curiosity as to what the locals were like after reading this and you know what? You're not all that .As for the beer/ale, average.
