The Brown Bear, Whitechapel
I've used the Brown Bear for many years. A lovely earthy old pub run by a really good manager. The pub is a great mix of locals and a few city workers living in harmony. The beer is well looked after - never had a bad pint in here. The food is simple but very good. Good beer and a great atmosphere - friendly and fun. The barmaids are really nice. The Brown Bear really is home from home!
