The Royal Oak, Pirbright

I can't comment on the food but the level of customer service was very disappointing.
We called earlier in the week to reserve a table and was told that you can't reserve a table
but if you get to the pub before 6pm it would be no problem. When we arrived, the
pub was very busy and no tables were available but there were at least 2 tables with
a reserved sign and no one sitting at them. We explained the situation to the bar man
and he was extremely rude to us especially when we asked why we were told that tables
couldn't be booked in advance but there were 2 reserved tables in eye shot. A shame
as the outside of the pub looks lovely but the treatment inside didn't match.
