most uncomfortable pub in athlone. youd bloody freeze in the beer garrden heaters or no heaters as the breeze from the shannon would go straight thro ya.
This pub is very over rated. full of olde lads in the front bar and full of every other sort of yob in the beer garden.The snug across from it or the castle inn are way nicer.

The Swan Inn, Old Isleworth

stayed for 4 nights at the swan inn recently. we had a great time here. very friendly staff quiz nite and great music on the friday night. Food here is excellent. Our room was lovely, and the food served was excellent. There was a lovely guinness pie served here during our stay and it was only divine.i would highly recommend this pub to anyone. Also great location for anyone going to twickenham for the rugby. Dean made us feel very welcome and got to know a few of the locals during our stay too. Will be returning to THE SWAN INN in the near future.
