The Boot, Weymouth
All I can say is Bathmatt must have gone into the wrong pub!
The Boot is a long time haunt of many ex-forces personel. With it's real fires, real conversation with genuine people (with no juke box or telly blaring out loud noise), and 5 real ales, not to mention the great ciders, you can't get much better than that.
As for being dropped by CAMRA, all I can say is READ THE BOOK. It's still listed in the Beer Guide, and frequented on most nights by members of CAMRA.
