The White Hart, Claygate

Lovely pub. Had a realy relaxed time having a meal there, and the kids were made to feel special. Too cold for them to go out and play in the garden, but will definaly be back when its warmer - if not sooner! Nice pint of Spitfire!

The Three Crutches, Strood

Sorry to say, but I think we ate on the same day as kgilson!! Had to wait about an hour, and the lasagna came out a bit burnt! Luckily we didn't have the kids with us, so it wasn't a major issue. And the beer was flowing - as long as you didn't mind having to wait while the tills decided if I was allowed to pay for it or not!
Anyway - we've been back there a couple of times, and I must say that the new couple running it seem to be on top of things. Had a most enjoyable roast on Sunday and there was a very friendly atmosphere.
If I'd scored it at the first visit, I would have only given it about 4. We went back to give them another try - after some friends had been there - and I'm glad we did.
I wish Nichola and Rob all the best in running the place, and they will see me and mine there again.
