The Bridge Inn, Upper Woodford

I spent the weekend in Wiltshire and found this gem on Sunday. It is a beautiful spot, postcard perfect! Trout in the river, swans, willow trees, old bridge, you get the picture, gorgeous. Nice local ales sold by polite attractive staff, and a roast to die for!!! Just make sure you're there before 2.30 because the kitchen closes. A perfect end to a perfect weekend. I want to live here!

Lazy, Tower Bridge

Hi everyone! Many thanks to all of you who supported Bethan and I during our time at lazy. Mali Wyn arriving and of course unexpected demands cut our time short at the bar but we have fantastic memories and a shed load of friends. I wish every single one of you all the best for the future. We are doing well and enjoying having more time together although I do miss lazy and feel really disappointed that we didn't have a proper chance to thank you and say goodbye personally.We would also like to thank our lovely staff without whom I would look even worse for wear! LUV YA! Anyway time to draw a line under it and use the experience positively. We'll be around and if you'd like to stay in touch then facebook us and we'll meet up for a beer or 3, (not keen on the Wetherspoons idea though!). Take Care.

The Ship Inn, Burcombe

Had a break from my bar in London and I have to say myself and my girlfriend found this place to be just what the doctor ordered! Great atmosphere, so relaxed that I could have been drinking in my sleep..... Lovely staff and clientele I will definately be back, food was great too. The landlord Neill told me they were doing B&B soon and I'll be getting away from my bar again as soon as they do. Thank you for a brilliant time.
