we held our babys christening here last sunday and was told that we could have the room free for the after party as the pub was kept open, we were then told that the buffet we wanted the price would be decided on what monies were took on the day behind the bar. we got there and we had the food also people in the pub were taking the food who were not part of the christening party also the barmaid helped herself all day to food also handing out to regulars.I would not have been bothered by this but at the end to be given a bill for �320 was disgusting , i am appauled at the pure cheek of this and personally think its wrong for a landlord to say something then give me a piece of paper handed by the barmaid not him simply with �320 wrote on it, i think this is disgusting behaviour and would not recommend anyone hiring the room there, members of my family regularly drink here and as from now are going elsewhee with there custom. there is no wonder this pub is going down hill and not making much money anymore
