beerdrinker2011 are you sure you are in the right pub???? the staff have never been rude to any customers in my experience, this is my local spot now so I would know! the staff treat people how they are treated so my guess is that you obviously was not courteous to them! so I think the hungry horse would be more suited to your tastes as you obviously do not know a good pub when you walk into one!!!

I disagree with the comments made about this pub, the staff are helpful, polite, and most of all have personality! not the like the "plastic" pubs and staff that are in the village. I'm new to the area and my experience of this friendly local was obviously completely different to those shown. The beer was fab, a great choice for the real ale, lager and spirit drinkers. The building is beautiful and think its the best pub in Bagshot, by far! as for the land lady, she's not a manufactured pub manager, the pub is her business, livelihood, and her home. and a lot of people respect her. I do as she does a lot of charity and community work. 10 out of 10 in my view and is now my drinking spot.
