The Barley Mow, Broomhill

I have had the pleasure of visiting this delightful country pub on several occasions since it reopened under new management (just over a year ago), and I can honestly say that I have yet to be disappointed in any way. The overall atmosphere is warm and cosy and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Best of all, the food is genuinely superb (I speak as someone who has sampled a good portion of the menu)! Even if you're not hungry, the bar area offers an excellent range of ales and has great character - the perfect place to while away a lazy afternoon.
