The Hereford Arms, South Kensington

You can tell this pub has been around for hundreds of years just by looking at the orginal beams supporting the building inside. The pub is steeped in history requented by Conan Arthur Doyle(author of Sherlock Holmes) and U.S. marines in WW2 used to play soft ball in the gardens opposite, Since Chris has taken over as landlord the food has improved significantly from somewhere i wouldn't eat to somewhere i would go on a regular basis. There is a good mix of tourists and locals. Chris has also improved the look of the place with flowers new signs. The wine is very good value and there is a great selection of bitters and largers being a Fuhlers pub. Highly recommended.
