Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn, Marton-cum-Grafton

This pub has recently been taken over by a new couple and they have completely turned the place around. The food is great and the staff are incredibly helpful and entertaining. Open fires, theme evenings, well kept beer (which is becoming increasingly difficult to find) and a warm and welcoming welcome. The venue is set in the beautiful (and unaffordable) village of marton cum grafton which is worth seeing even if you dont venture to the punch bowl. I have just booked our Christmas dinner here and will let you know how it went.
