Lamb Hotel, Eccles

A lovely Edwardian pub, but beauty on the outside does not always transfer to the beer pumps inside. The pint of Holts bitter I had there was sour. In fact I suspect that it had lain below the bar for a while, because when I ordered it, I got it much quicker than I'd ever got a pint in a Holts before, very suspicious I'd say. Maybe it was because I'm not a regular and the barmaid tried it on, or the beer really is that sour. I haven't ever been back since.

The Forresters Arms, Prestwich

Definitely a pub stuck in the 70s, which to me is a good thing.

I believe this once good pub is now closed, and is now an office for some firm.
