The Golden Lion Hotel, Horton in Ribblesdale

Stayed in the bunkhouse here as a base for the 3 Peaks walk and found it marginally better than a night in the car. Bunkhouse was cramped and lacked basic privacy (e.g. locks on toilet doors and no curtains on the unisex showers!) Pub itself run down, over-priced and the worst pub food i�ve ever tasted (and that�s saying something)- disgusting burnt re-heated microwaved stodge with chips, served by a moody teenager. There�s a lovely pub at the other end of the village called the Crown - don�t stay here - stay there, or at the campsite just down the road.
